Marko Simunovic
Marko Šimunović is a renowned Croatian barber, recognized for his role in shaping the modern hairdressing scene in Croatia. He began his career with a salon called Polypus, which was later renamed Polyboy Barber Shop. This change occurred when he embraced the global resurgence of classic barbering that became popular worldwide about a decade ago. For the past six years, Marko and his team have focused on preserving the essence of classic barbering while incorporating modern, geometric elements into haircuts, blending old-school techniques with contemporary styles. In addition to running his barber shop, Marko has also created collections and is actively involved in educating aspiring barbers, helping to shape the future of the profession. His work has significantly contributed to the growth of barber culture in Croatia, and his approach-merging tradition with innovation-has made Polyboy Barber Shop one of the most renowned destinations for those seeking a classic yet modern haircut.
Master barber
Sasa Pupic
Saša Pupić (born 1992) from Krizevci began his career in the IT sector, but soon realized he was more drawn to barbering. With no prior experience but a great passion, he started as an apprentice to Marko Šimunović, unaware of how vast and deep that world truly is. Today, as a master barber at Polyboy Barbershop, Sasha not only hones his craft daily but also actively participates in educating others. He performs at prestigious events like the Hairstyle News Festival, where alongside Marko Šimunović he imparts knowledge to hairdressers with decades of experience. Through seminars and workshops across the region, he is dedicated to elevating the art of barbering. For Sasha, barbering is not just about cutting hair and trimming beards-it’s an art form that includes traditional shaving with warm towels, the pinnacle of this craft. Beyond skill, barbering is a way of life, infused with a gentleman’s style in both dressing and demeanor. Polyboy Barbershop isn’t just a salon-it’s a time machine. Once you step through its doors, you enter a bygone era where barbershops were places of conversation, tradition, and exceptional craftsmanship.

She studied at the Faculty of Textile Technology and attended the School of Applied Arts and Design. Through many years of work in the fashion, beauty, and TV industries, Tea has gained extensive experience in makeup, eyebrow shaping, and aesthetic treatments. Her passion is eyebrows, which she believes form the foundation of everything-the frame of the face. Specialized techniques such as threading, permanent eyebrow makeup, lash and brow lift, makeup, and other treatments that highlight natural beauty are her specialty. Beauty is individual, and Tea’s approach is precisely that-personalized and dedicated to each client. Details make the difference. Every treatment is tailored to the person in front of us, with the goal of subtly and elegantly enhancing their natural beauty. Our philosophy? A blend of precision, aesthetics, and a warm approach that ensures every client feels comfortable, confident, and satisfied in their own skin.
